This paper presents results of a study focused on local load distribution in roofs with trapezoidal profiles. The distribution was analyzed for a range of variables that may occur on real structures. These factors include the presence and type of thermal insulation or the effect of cyclic and long-term load on the static behavior of the composition. For the basic analysis, an already existing experiment was used. This experiment was then extended by a series of additional tests focused on different loading parameters. The experiment also served to validate the FEM model developed in Abaqus software to analyze the load distribution depending on the static scheme. The experimentally determined values were then compared with the results of calculations according to currently valid methods.
